Powerflush vs chemical flush — and what your system needs
Every new boiler needs the existing system cleaned before commissioning. A chemical flush is usually sufficient on systems under 10 years old with no symptoms. A powerflush — circulating water and cleaner at high velocity through every radiator — is essential where you've seen cold spots, sludge, or repeated pump failures. We test the system water before quoting and recommend the correct option, not the most expensive one.
Smart controls, weather compensation and load compensation
The boiler is only half the story. Pairing it with weather compensation (an outside sensor) and load compensation (modulating the boiler down to match heat demand) is where the real efficiency gains live.
